What to Expect

At the Anchor we want you to come as you are and feel like one of the family. We won’t single you out or do anything which might make you feel uncomfortable.

Our Service

Our service is simple. We gather together at 11:00 am and start the service with songs of praise. The music is followed by a few announcements, a message, and a closing song. We end our time with an Anchor tailgate lunch. That’s it!

What should I wear?

Flip flops, jeans, shorts, a t-shirt or top is the norm. You could wear a suit or tuxedo if you want but most people would ask you where you will be heading after service.

Who are we?

Most of us are Asian American’s from the surrounding communities in the South Bay. We are a Christian church trying to follow God, love one another, and figure life out together.

The Anchor has two services. The first service is at 9:00 am and is a Japanese language service. The second service begins at 11:00 am and is an English speaking service. Both services average around 40 adults.
